Police investigate shooting at Tallahassee mall

A shooting at Governor’s Square Mall Saturday afternoon has drawn a large Tallahassee Police Department presence to the shopping center at 1500 Apalachee Pkwy.

A TPD watch commander told the Democrat it doesn’t appear that anyone is injured, though it is still early in the investigation. The shooting occurred near the underground parking lot at Dillards at around 3 p.m.

He said Dillards was shut down at the moment, and he had no additional information at this time.

A witness took to video and posted on Facebook and reported there were gunshots at the mall. What sounds like a fire alarm can be heard in the background as the witness said officials were evacuating the mall.
