The Hurricanes, coming off a successful first season under coach Jai Lucas, have a pair of high-profile games on ESPN’s Big Monday in February, traveling to Duke on Feb. 1 and North Carolina on Feb. 22. The Duke game will be a homecoming for Lucas, who was the associate head coach of the Blue Devils before taking the Miami job.

Miami opens ACC play at the Watsco Center against NC State on Dec. 29, before starting the new year with back-to-back road games at Pitt (Jan. 2) and Georgia Tech (Jan. 5).

Miami then returns to Coral Gables for home matchups against Syracuse (Jan. 9) and Virginia (Jan. 16), followed by road trips to Louisville (Jan. 19) and Virginia Tech (Jan. 23) before closing the month with home games against Clemson (Jan. 27) and Wake Forest (Jan. 30).

Following the trip to Duke, the Hurricanes host Florida State on Feb. 6 before heading west to face Stanford (Feb. 10) and California (Feb. 13). The Hurricanes tip off the nonconference season Nov. 2 against state rival University of Florida in Tampa. The Gators, who won the national championship in 2025, have four players back from last season’s SEC championship team. UM then plays five home games the rest of November before traveling to Las Vegas to participate in the Players Era 16 tournament.

The Players Era 16 event features 13 teams who made the 2026 NCAA Tournament. In addition to the past two national champions, Florida and Michigan, the fields include Alabama, Tennessee, Houston, Louisville, Iowa State, St. John’s, Miami, Gonzaga, Kansas, TCU and Texas Tech.

The Players Era 16 field will be divided into two eight-team brackets with the teams emerging from each side meeting for the Championship Game Saturday, Nov. 28. UM plays TCU in the first round.
