Ole Miss Star Trinidad Chambliss Apologizes For ‘Classless’ Postgame Interview

Ole Miss Rebels star quarterback Trinidad Chambliss went viral for his postgame interview with ESPN sideline reporter Holly Rowe on Saturday night.

The Rebels topped the Tigers in an epic Week 3 game. Ole Miss got revenge against LSU head coach Lane Kiffin, who left the program following the 2025 season. Immediately following the win, Chambliss spoke with ESPN’s sideline reporter.

Chambliss yelled out a “Hotty (expletive) Toddy” for the world to hear as he ended his interview with Rowe.

“Classless,” one fan wrote.

“Kids are watching, come on man,” one fan added.

“Expected better from him in that moment,” another fan shared.

Ole Miss’ star quarterback has since apologized

The star quarterback for the Ole Miss Rebels has since apologized for his postgame behavior on Saturday evening.

“Emotions were high, that’s the best play in football being in victory formation,” Chambliss said. “My emotions were high for the game, and I kind of got caught up in the moment with the interview. That’s not who I am with the interview. I’m deeply apologetic to Holly Rowe and everyone out there who was listening, and that’s not who I am so I’m sorry about that.”

Ole Miss head coach Pete Golding, meanwhile, was thrilled with his quarterback’s performance against LSU.

“He’s a fierce competitor,” Pete Golding told Rowe after the game. “I told you before, ‘As long as the ball’s in No. 6’s hands, we’re good.’ Just happy for our guys.”

Kiffin, meanwhile, is glad to have closure.

“I’m glad it’s over. This was an emotional game for a lot of reasons,” Kiffin said. “A lot of life-changing experiences here. A lot of really good people that helped me through some really hard times. Sometimes I don’t act like it, but I’m a human, too.

“Congrats to those guys. They played really well. They deserved to win.”
