Colorado Fans Demand ‘Honest’ Conversation About Deion Sanders After Week 3

Colorado was blown out by Northwestern on Saturday night.

The Buffaloes were crushed by the Wildcats, 41-7, in embarrassing fashion. It was yet another bad loss for Colorado on a relatively big stage, taking on a Big Ten opponent on the road.

Coach Prime has built up some momentum over the years at Colorado. However, in recent seasons, the Buffalos have fallen off pretty hard.

Deion Sanders is now a disappointing 18-22 during his time in Boulder, Colorado. Is that good enough? Not really.

Colorado’s fans are “demanding” a conversation about his tenure.

“After this game Deion Sanders will be 18-22 at Colorado. Time to start being honest at this point. He’s objectively been a bad coach at Colorado,” one prominent Colorado fan shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Fans are disappointed.

“But he’s so good in those Aflac commercials,” one fan wrote.

“Bad coach is a stretch. Colorado is an awful program nobody wants to go there after Shedeur and Travis left,” one fan added.

“Context matters…he inherited the worst high major program when he got there…Are they better today than the day he got there (yes)…Is Colorado still light years away from being a playoff contender (yes) but if he leaves what exactly do you think going happen,” one fan added.

“Colorado hasn’t had a coach with a winning record since 2005.. since 2005 they have been 63-120 before Deion sanders.. lol at least people want to watch Colorado football with him there,” one fan added.

“He is getting fired. No players. You can be the best coach in the world but without the players your done. Facts at any level,” one fan added.
