His rep Ezra Hermann confirmed to the Miami Herald Monday evening via email that they were aware of the reports and were “working to confirm the circumstances.”
“Sean’s health and well-being are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has reached out,” Hermann said.
There has been no update regarding Combs’ health as of Tuesday morning, but according to TMZ he was back on the grounds a few hours after being whisked away.
October has been a busy month for the Grammy winner at FCI Fort Dix, the low security facility that’s been his home for almost a full year. In July 2025, Combs was convicted on two prostitution-related charges after being acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
A recent NBC News bombshell article revealed that Combs’ life is far from shabby, as he apparently uses his fame and wealth to get stuff on the inside. Sources told the national outlet that the singer pays fellow inmates to cook and clean for him and even give him massages and ply him with contraband booze.
Shortly after the story broke that Combs was receiving pampered treatment, he was reportedly sent off to the Special Housing Unit, aka solitary confinement. This is a standard procedure during internal investigations.
A scan of the Bureau of Prisons website reveals Combs’ release date, which has shifted constantly throughout his time there, has shifted once again. The 56-year-old Star Island resident is currently set to be sprung March 2, 2028.
