According to BSO detectives, several men were gambling in the front yard of the home on the 1500 block of NW Seventh Avenue when an argument broke out among them. Rau Lee Davis, Jr., 50, of Margate, allegedly got out a gun and fired several rounds, striking two men.

Robert Vaughn, 46, of Fort Lauderdale, died at the home, the BSO said. The other man, who was not identified, received medical treatment for his injuries.

Davis was being held without bond Sunday at the Broward Main Jail. He doesn’t have an attorney yet, court records show.
