Pembroke Pines police looking for man who stomped duck to death

Pembroke Pines police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who was recorded on security-camera footage stomping an adult duck to death. After killing the animal on Sunday, he stands on it for several seconds, the graphic video shows.

The incident happened in between a Denny’s restaurant and a dental clinic near North University Drive and NW 13th Street.

The footage also shows him chasing what could be the dead duck’s ducklings and kicking bushes, presumably trying to kill birds that were trying to get away from him.

Police said they believe he killed some of the ducklings, a department spokeswoman said.

The man in the video has a slim build, his hair tied back under a ball cap, and is wearing a gray sweater and black pants.
