Like most college freshmen, even nonfamous ones, Kai Trump is going through some things.

A few days before classes began Monday at the University of Miami, the 19-year-old revealed how it felt to fly the coop.

“Insane,” the Benjamin High alum told her YouTube followers at around the 20-minute mark of her vlog. “It’s crazy how I’m like leaving home, and leaving my friends and family.”

Especially tough: Bidding goodbye to her mother Vanessa Haydon, who is divorced from her father Donald Trump Jr., the president’s first child.

“I’m going to miss my mom a lot,” the golf phenom said of the former model who is being treated for breast cancer. “She’s getting emotional too about it … We were leaving a store the other day, and she just started crying in the car. And I started crying. It’s not good.”

Kai needn’t worry too much. Miami is about a two-hour drive from Jupiter, where Haydon has four littles to keep her company — Donald III, 17; Tristan, 14; Spencer, 13; and Chloe, 12. And, as far as we know, Haydon also has a support system in the form of boyfriend Tiger Woods, who lives nearby.
