On Monday, grainy photos emerged on UsWeekly of “Vanderpump Rules” alum Jax Taylor on a romantic Mexican vacation with someone who definitely isn’t his estranged wife/former costar Brittany Cartwright.

The woman looking cozy with Taylor in a Puerto Vallarta pool was outed as Lori Krebs, an L.A.-based entertainment publicist who worked with Cartwright on her career for years (his too).

People confirmed that whatever is going on is not new: They’ve been together for months, and Cartwright, who shares a 5-year-old son Cruz with Taylor, is not pleased.

“Brittany is very upset about the photos, but isn’t surprised,” an insider tells the magazine. “She could tell their relationship was more than client-rep.” Us adds that she has since severed ties with the flack.

So, again, what is the timing of this thing? We know they’ve been tight since at least mid-May because TMZ has the receipts. That’s when Krebs and Taylor were spotted by a fellow patron seated at the bar at a Flanigan’s in Boca Raton.

Taylor, a recovering addict, wasn’t drinking alcohol, the source told the gossip outlet, adding that the 47-year-old was in town to participate in a 5K to benefit local nonprofit Recovery Through Repetition at Boca Raton Innovation Campus park.

We have a feeling Cartwright, who currently is on the “VPR” spinoff “The Valley,” will get over it soon enough as she embraces her single-mom era.

“I very much am working on myself, working on my mental health, my physical health, and just being the best mom to Cruz that I can possibly be,” the TV personality said on her podcast “When Reality Hits” two weeks before the event in Boca. “Cruz always comes first for both of us.”
