But you’ll need to follow a few rules and make the deadline so you can vote in the Nov. 3 mid-terms, which start with early voting and mail-by-vote about two weeks before Election Day.

How do you register to vote?

If you want to register to vote online, Florida has an online portal where you can register from your computer.

There are other ways, too:

Miami-Dade County

In Miami-Dade County, you can submit a by mail or in person. You must print it and sign it before mailing it or bringing it to the Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections office at 2700 NW 87th Ave. in Doral.

Broward County

In Broward County, if you don’t want to register using the online portal, you can fill out and bring the Voter Registration Application to the main Super of Election Office at 4650 NW 21st Ave. near Fort Lauderdale or to any of six branch offices.

Monroe County

In the Keys, if you don’t want to register online using the state’s portal, you can fill out the and mail it or bring it in person to one of the Supervisor of Elections offices in Key West, Key Largo or Marathon. The main office is located at 5200 College Rd. in Key West.

What’s the deadline to register to vote?

You must register by Oct. 5, at least 29 days before the election on Nov. 3.

How do you change your personal information

If you have moved, changed names or switched political parties, Florida offers an easy option to get that on your voter registration.

You can go to the state’s online portal to request address, name or political party changes. You can also fill out a new go to the Supervisor of Elections office to change the information in person or, if you’re in Broward County, use the online portal for address changes.

Miami-Dade: You can also request an address change by phone, email, fax, mail or in person. To change your name or political party, if you don’t use the online portal, you can submit a new .
