The state Supreme Court granted the Florida Bar’s petition for interim suspension — a petition to which Jackson Lainez filed a notice of no opposition — and the head of “Action Jackson Law” will be sidelined as a lawyer beginning Oct. 24.

Lainez, 48, is charged with one count of lewd and lascivious exhibition on a child under 16 by someone 18 or over, and two counts of lewd and lascivious conduct on a child under 16 years of age by someone 18 or over. He was arrested Feb. 5 and was released after posting $15,000 bond.

“We are actively litigating the case, and look forward to Mr. Lainez being exonerated of these allegations,” Eric Schwartzreich, Lainez’s defense attorney, said in an email to the Miami Herald.

Lainez’s arrest came 15 months and 11 days after his wife first contacted Miami Springs police, who turned over the investigative lead to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office’s special victims unit.

“These charges stem from [Lainez’s] recorded admissions, in which he described performing sexual acts” with and in front of two boys, the Florida Bar’s petition for interim suspension said.

Lainez’s wife obtained the recordings on Sept. 12, 2024, and reported the issue to Miami Springs police on Oct. 25, 2024.

The arrest affidavit says Lainez’s attorney filed a motion “to exclude, suppress and strike” the recordings on Sept. 19, 2025. A judge denied the motion on Dec. 22, 2025.

DCF gave the recordings to police on Feb. 2. Lainez was arrested at his home on Feb. 5.
