Deputies were called out to the Quail Roost Drive home around 9 a.m. after receiving a call of a possible drowning. They found the body in the pool, according to emergency dispatch audio, and tied to a long rope. News helicopter footage showed the rope strewn on the deck and leading to the pool.
The sheriff’s office said Monday that the Broward Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an autopsy to determine Ormo’s cause of death, adding its investigation remains “open and active.”
