A dispatcher was heard on emergency radio scanner communications saying the body was in the pool and “tied up.” A WPLG helicopter flying over the property captured footage of a body and what appeared to be a rope strewn on the deck and leading into the pool.
The house is located at the 2100 block of Quail Roost Drive in the Weston Hills subdivision, which includes an 18-hole golf course.

Broward Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Gerdy St. Louis said deputies and paramedics found the man submerged in the pool and “pronounced him deceased.” The sheriff’s office has not confirmed reports about the rope, but in a statement called the death a “suspicious incident.”
Homicide detectives and crime scene units are investigating, St. Louis said.
Family members gathered in the surrounding area. Yellow police tape cordoned off the property, where several vehicles were parked in the driveway, including a white Toyota SUV, a gray BMW SUV and a black Range Rover.
