UMass Dartmouth Football Player Marvins Antoine Found Dead at 18
A college football player was found dead stabbed to death outside of a nightclub at 19 years old this weekend.
Chukuwnonso Uzome-Eze, a 19-year-old student at UMass Dartmouth, is reportedly facing a murder charge. Marvins Antoine, an 18-year-old freshman football player at the school, was reportedly found stabbed to death outside of a nightclub. One of his teammates was found injured, as well.
“Antoine, a freshman football player at UMass Dartmouth, was at Mezzo Lounge with other members of the football team, including 19-year-old freshman Kensley Macean, after their Friday night game. Police say the nightclub was putting on an event hosted by a Massachusetts-based promoter,” Live 5 News reported.
“Police say Antoine was stabbed in the chest and later died at the hospital. Macean was also stabbed and suffered injuries to his head, neck and arm, but he is expected to survive. Investigators say Eze left the nightclub in a car that was identified with the use of license plate readers. He was taken into custody by UMass Dartmouth Police.”
Police are investigating the incident. The incident stemmed from something that happened in the line outside the nightclub.

“There was an altercation between a female and some of the victims that were in line, and then, the altercation moved over to the parking lot of the Wendy’s,” Providence Police Chief Oscar Perez said.
It isn’t believed at this time that there was any prior relationship between the alleged suspect and the victims.
A memorial service was held for the freshman college football player on Saturday afternoon.
