Deputies responded shortly after 8 a.m. to a report of a man lying in the swale in the 700 block of Southwest 10th Drive, where he died, BSO said.

The pedestrian’s injuries “were consistent with being struck by a vehicle,” BSO said. After a search of the area, detectives said the crash may have happened at a different location.
