Vanessa Camacho of the American Heritage-Plantation girls’ volleyball team is the Miami Herald High School Athlete of the Week for Week 8 of the 2026-27 school term.
The senior had 9 service points, 5 aces, 7 kills, .777 hitting percentage, and 2 digs in a 3-set win over Northeast in a District 14-4A semifinal.
