A few of the OGs of “Scary Movie” were making the rounds to promote No. 6 in the franchise, which has grossed nearly $900 million worldwide. The upcoming comedy horror flick’s theme remains the same as the others: sending up cult classics like “Scream,” “Smile,” “Halloween,” “Saw” and more gory fare.

The latest incarnation slashes through “reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs … anything with the word legacy in it, and every ‘final chapter’ that absolutely isn’t final,” reads the release. It hits theaters June 5.

About a mile from the swimsuit tents on Collins Avenue, Marlon Wayans and his older brother Shawn worked the room at a LIV nightclub release party. The NYC-born siblings not only reprise their roles as Shorty and Ray in the latest, but also wear writer-producer hats again.

On LIV’s Instagram Stories, the two comedians take in the festive scene with disco lights flashing, and the trailer projected on a wall. In another clip, a LIV staffer dressed as “Ghostface” flies above the crowd on a trapeze.

Across the causeway, in Wynwood, Anna Faris, who stars as scream queen Cindy, brought down the (R) House. The over-the-top evening featured immersive drag shows inspired by fan-favorite moments from the past five installments. We were told that at one point, R House brunch regular Kat Wilderness Dion hilariously re-enacted the scene when Cindy engages in mortal combat with a demonic cat from Part 2 in 2001. (Just a toy, it’s OK.)

On that venue’s Insta Stories, Faris dances seductively on stage in a pin-striped outfit and hat, joking that her drag queen persona’s name is “Ruby Rugburn.”

In a recent interview with People, the actress said she couldn’t be more “thrilled” to reconnect with the iconic Hollywood project and predicts the audience will have a blast.

“I am really excited to promote it and talk about it because I believe in it so much,” the former “Mom” star told the magazine. “I hope they can have a great effing time with their friends and family, just like they did back in 2000.”
