3 men in a Mercedes shot a scooter rider with pellet guns, Miami police say
Miami police arrested three men who are accused of shooting a scooter rider with pellet guns from a Mercedes-Benz SUV as they drove through Brickell early Monday morning.

The man was riding a standup electric scooter north on Brickell Avenue near Southeast Seventh Street when the Mercedes pulled up to him, and the passengers began peppering him with pellets, according to a Miami police arrest report.
The man was knocked off his scooter, and one of the pellets nearly hit his left eye, police said. He tried getting back on his scooter and noticed the car turn around, and the passengers shooting at him again, according to the report.
The scooter rider took cellphone video of the car driving away, including a partial image of the license plate, police say.

Three officers pulled over the Mercedes on Southwest Second Avenue around 1:30 a.m. They found pellets in the car on the floorboards, cupholders and seats, according to the report.
They arrested 21-year-old Kai McMurray, from Laguna Beach, California, 19-year-old Tomas Flecha from Gurnee, Illinois, and Ayden Hanan, a 23-year-old from Conyers, Georgia. They were in Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center Monday afternoon on charges of aggravated battery and shooting a deadly missile.
Information on their legal representation was not immediately available.
According to the report, McMurray told officers that he was driving the car, and Flecha and Hanan sat in the back seat while they rolled the windows down and shot at several people in the Brickell area.
