Woman arrested after early morning stabbing in Deerfield Beach, deputies say

A woman was arrested Sunday morning after allegedly stabbing another woman in Deerfield Beach, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

At 3:45 a.m. on Sunday morning, Broward County Regional communications got a call about a stabbing on the 400 block of Northwest Third Avenue in Deerfield Beach.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue arrived shortly after and found a woman with stab wounds.

Paramedics took the woman to a nearby hospital; her injuries were not fatal.

BSO’s Violent Crime Unit is investigating the incident and an adult woman suspect was arrested just after 10 a.m. BSO has no released the name of the arrested suspect or what charges have been filed.
