Tanker truck overturns on Florida Turnpike, killing driver: FHP. Road is closed
A tanker truck overturned on Florida’s Turnpike near the Bird Road exit Thursday morning, killing the driving and shutting down lanes to traffic in both directions, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The driver was heading north at 10:36 a.m. when he lost control, causing the truck to overturn and collide into the center median concrete barrier, Lt. Alejandro Camacho, an FHP spokesman, said.

As of 11:15 a.m., troopers closed traffic in both directions, Camacho said.
