Players at two Publix stores split Wednesday’s only big money lottery jackpot

Two Publix shoppers split Wednesday’s only jackpot hit among the Florida Lotto, Fantasy 5 and Powerball drawings, one of whom played at a store with its third jackpot win in four months.

The Powerball jackpot jumped to $298 million and the Florida Lotto top prize to $10.75 million for Saturday’s drawing.

Wednesday’s Fantasy 5 evening draw numbers — 17, 22, 26, 28, 31 — were chosen by players at the Crystal River Publix, 6760 W. Gulf to Lake Hwy., and an unincorporated Orange County Publix at 12195 S. Orange Blossom Trail. Each player’s jackpot share was $56,223.

That Orlando-area Publix also had Fantasy 5 jackpot winners on Aug. 30 and on May 30.
