Person believed to be ‘intruder’ shot dead in northwest Miami, police said
Police are investigating the fatal shooting Monday morning of a person in northwest Miami who investigators are calling “an intruder,” the department said.

Officers arrived at the scene of the shooting, on the 4600 block of Northwest 5th Avenue, around 5 a.m. and found the person dead.
Police are questioning another person “in connection with the incident,” Kenia Fallat, a department spokeswoman said in an emailed statement.

Police have not released any other details, including the identities of anyone involved, their ages or their sexes.
