The Dallas Cowboys are scheduled to take on the Baltimore Ravens in a Week 3 game in Brazil next weekend. However, concerns are emerging about the conditions of the field. The NFL is aware of potential issues with the field for the Cowboys vs. Ravens game.

“From rain to a significant number of soccer matches (with one more happening on Sunday), there are potential problems. The NFL is taking steps, we’re told, to ensure that the field will be ready to host the game in only eight days,” Pro Football Talk reported.

“The clock is ticking. After Sunday’s soccer game, the league will need to decide fairly quickly whether the field will be suitable for the Week 3 contest. If there’s a chance it won’t be, the only prudent thing to do would be to move it.”

The Dallas Cowboys will technically be the home team for the game.

Many are pressuring the NFL to move the game out of Brazil and back to Dallas, for the safety of the players. It’s not worth risking injury on a bad field just to play another game overseas.

“Move it to Arlington. If you can’t get the field right, you have no business hosting an NFL game. Get it fixed and try again next year,” one fan wrote.

“The need for the NFL to go international is irrational. They are not going to move the needle. It’s nonsense,” one fan added.

“The NFL needs to stop playing regular season games outside of the United States,” one fan added.
