Yirsi Esperanza Machado Rivera, 50, was arrested and faces felony burglary and misdemeanor battery charges. On Tuesday, Miami-Dade Bond Court Judge Mindy Glazer granted prosecutors’ request to hold Machado Rivera in jail as she awaits her trial, meaning she will not be able to bond out of the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

Shortly after 6:15 p.m. Monday, Machado Rivera banged on the door of her neighbor’s trailer inside Royal County Mobile Homes community, 5555 NW 202nd Ter., according to her arrest report.

When the neighbor opened the door, Machado Rivera accused her of sleeping with her husband and forced her way inside, the report states. She then shoved the victim and threw a bucket of feces on her.

At some point before the incident, Machado Rivera had told a witness that she defecated in a bucket to throw it in the victim’s face, the report states.

But Machado Rivera disputed that as the reason why the feces were in the bucket, the report shows.

When detectives interviewed her, Machado Rivera said she was trying to get rid of a bucket of “caca” that she had due to a broken toilet.

Machado Rivera also said she and the victim got into an argument — not over a love triangle — but over the smell of the feces, the report states. During that squabble, Machado Rivera said her neighbor hit her over the head with a bat.

She also denied entering the victim’s home and throwing the “caca” on her.
