Man hospitalized with life-threatening gunshot wound, Fort Lauderdale police say
A man is in a hospital with serious injuries after he was shot Wednesday afternoon in Fort Lauderdale, police said.

The shooting happened shortly before 2 p.m. on the 800 block of Northwest 10th Terrace, police said. Officers found the man, who has not been named, with “life-threatening injuries,” said Casey Liening, a police department spokeswoman.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue paramedics took him to Broward Health Medical Center.

Liening said the shooting “appears to be an isolated incident involving two individuals,” adding as of Wednesday afternoon, no one was in custody and the investigation continues.
