SUPPLX.com, based in Grant-Valkaria in Brevard County, yanked all lots of Branch Manager for Men and Business Pill after the FDA found “dangerously high levels of yohimbine” in the pills.
As the recall notice explains, yohimbine is an alkaloid from the bark of the yohimbe tree, usually used for erectile dysfunction in prescription medications, not over-the-counter supplements.
“Yohimbine can cause severe hypertension, tachycardia, and possibly cardiac arrhythmia and heart attacks, especially if the consumer is taking other stimulants such as caffeine or ephedra-containing products or prescription drugs used to treat ADHD,” the SUPPLX-written, FDA-posted recall notice states.

“Severe gastrointestinal distress, including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and stomach pain are typical side effects of high doses,” the warning continues. “It can also cause acute neurologic and psychiatric effects, including anxiety, insomnia, mania, psychosis in schizophrenic patients, drowsiness, disorientation, tremors and seizures.
“Death has been reported in cases of severe overdose.”
The pills were sold in boxes of 24 via the company website from Sept. 16, 2023 through this past June 11. SUPPLX recommends disposing of any pills you still have. Or, as the pills have been recalled, consumers should request a refund from SUPPLX.
According to the recall, if you have questions about the recall, you can call (321) 341-9501 or email [email protected]. Any medical problems should be taken to a medical professional, then reported to the FDA through its MedWatch program.
