Los Angeles enters Sunday’s game with a 15-26 record after losing on the road to the Dallas Wings Thursday night.

In Thursday’s loss to the Wings, Nneka Ogwumike led the way for the Sparks as she recorded 18 points, seven rebounds and four assists while Dearica Hamby added 14 points and four rebounds of her own.

The Sparks will try to bounce back Sunday as they face off against a struggling Fire team at home.

Portland enters Sunday’s contest with a 16-26 record after losing on the road to the Golden State Valkyries Friday night.

Frieda Buhner led the way for the Fire in Friday’s loss as she ended the game with 14 points, three rebounds and three assists off the bench while Carla Leite recorded 12 points and six assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday night’s matchup, each may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Fire Injury Report: Will Bridget Carleton, Teja Oblak Play?

The Fire have , including Bridget Carleton and Teja Oblak.

Portland has listed Carleton as questionable due to a left ankle injury and she is in danger of missing her third consecutive contest.

The Fire have also listed Jordan Harrison as questionable due to a right ankle injury that she suffered in Friday’s loss.

Oblak has been ruled out as she will miss her third straight game with a left knee injury while Sarah Ashlee Barker, Sania Feagin and Luisa Geiselsoder will all miss the remainder of the season.

The Sparks have three players listed on their injury report, including Hamby and Cameron Brink.

Los Angeles has listed Hamby as doubtful due to a left knee injury and she is expected to miss her first game of the season.

Cameron Brink (right ankle), Dearica Hamby (left knee), and Aaliyah Nye (left ankle) are all DOUBTFUL for the Sparks tomorrow night against Portland.

The Sparks have also listed Brink as doubtful due to a right ankle injury and she is expected to miss her first game since Aug. 18.

Aaliyah Nye has also been listed as doubtful and she is expected to miss Sunday’s game with a left ankle injury.
