Dolphins to raise season-ticket prices in 2027. Here’s who they will be playing
The Dolphins, who have lost their first five games and are in the midst of a roster retooling, are raising season ticket prices across the board in 2027, after not increasing prices for any seats (and lowering the price of some seats) this year.

The increase is being attributed to the team hosting an additional regular-season game next year.
This season, season-ticket holders paid for eight regular-season games and two preseason games. Next season, they’ll pay for nine regular- season home games and one preseason home game.
Every season ticket price will increase next year, with most rising by 3%. A couple of sections in the shade, on the home sideline, rose a bit more than 3%. The Dolphins mailed renewals to season ticket holders this week.
The Dolphins already know seven of their nine home opponents in 2027.
Besides playing host to AFC East rivals Buffalo, the Jets and New England in 2027, Miami also will play home games against Houston, Indianapolis, Philadelphia and Washington. The Dolphins also will host the team that finishes in the same position in the AFC North and NFC South.
The Dolphins aren’t expecting any of those home games to be moved overseas.
(The Dolphins road schedule in 2027 includes the Bills, Jets, Patriots, Dallas, Jacksonville, the Giants, Tennessee and the team that finishes in the same position in the AFC West.)
The Dolphins’ attendance has dropped significantly so far this season, albeit in a very limited sample size. The Dolphins are averaging 58,719 in two home games (against Kansas City and Cincinnati), which ranks 31st in the NFL, ahead of only Jacksonville (56,782).
Last season, the Dolphins averaged 65,687 for the eight games at Hard Rock Stadium. Miami’s ninth “home” game — against Washington in Madrid, Spain — drew 78,610, bringing the Dolphins’ overall home attendance average to 67,122, which was 19th in the league.

Excluding the COVID season of 2020, the Dolphins haven’t averaged this few fans since 2012, when they averaged 57,379, ranking ahead of only the Rams, Tampa Bay and Las Vegas.
Next year’s price increase angered some Dolphins fans, two of whom reached out to The Miami Herald.
Dan Muchnick, a retired Miami Norland High teacher and a Dolphins season-ticket holder since the franchise’s inception in 1966, said he is considering not renewing his six season tickets after his home sideline seats, in the shade, each rose by $375.
Muchnick said his seats, in section 144, jumped from $3430 this season to $3795 next season.
“I was so upset,” he said. “How can you raise prices on a [poor] product? We haven’t made a serious playoff run since the mid-90s.”
The renewal notices were accompanied by this note from the Dolphins:
“Thank you for being a dedicated Miami Dolphins Season Ticket Member.
“Your support and loyalty have been essential in helping shape the Dolphins community this season. As we lay a new foundation of Dolphins football, you are an important part of the journey.
