Crash at Highway 25 intersection in Gilman sends one to hospital
A 66-year-old Pierz woman was sent to St. Cloud Hospital after a crash in Gilman, just north of Foley, on Friday afternoon.

The woman was driving a Subaru Forester northbound at 3:40 p.m. Sept. 11 on Highway 25, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report. A 58-year-old Foley man was driving a Chrysler Town and Country eastbound on 115th Street. The two cars collided in the intersection.
There were no other passengers, and the Chrysler driver reported no injuries. The Pierz woman’s injuries were not life threatening, MSP said.
In addition to MSP, the Foley Fire Department, Mayo Ambulance Service and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash.

Police do not suspect alcohol to be involved in the incident.
As of Monday morning, MSP had responded to 15 crashes in the St. Cloud area since the start of the month, and 195 since the start of the year, according to Minnesota Department of Public Safety data. There has been one fatality reported in September as of Monday morning, and 14 overall this year.
