RFK Racing Announces Major Team News Ahead of Kansas Speedway Race
RFK Racing announced on Monday that it has parted ways with Jeremy Bullins, crew chief for co-owner Brad Keselowski‘s No. 6 Ford, and that Mike Skarbowski will step in as the new crew chief starting with Sunday’s Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway. The NASCAR team said in a statement that Bullins departed for a new opportunity and characterized the split as amicable.

“We’re excited for Jeremy and his family as he embarks on a new opportunity. Jeremy has been a terrific teammate, leader, and vital member of our competition think tank. Not only has he been a trusted voice with the #6 team, but he’s also brought great value to the garage in sharing strategic insights and historical perspective as we’ve crafted a shared vision for RFK Racing’s on-track success. We wish Jeremy nothing but the best,” RFK Racing wrote in a statement posted on X.
Why RFK Racing Moved On From Jeremy Bullins
Bullins joined RFK Racing ahead of the 2025 season, reuniting with Keselowski after the two worked together at Team Penske. The move has not produced a postseason berth for Keselowski in either season under Bullins, and the driver currently sits 18th in the Cup Series points standings.
Bullins has 10 career Cup Series wins as a crew chief, half of them during Keselowski’s final two seasons at Penske in 2020 and 2021. He also guided Ryan Blaney to three Cup Series victories and added one win apiece with Austin Cindric and Harrison Burton during his time at Penske. Bullins additionally has 21 wins in 100 starts as a crew chief in what is now the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series.

Who Is Mike Skarbowski, RFK Racing’s New Crew Chief
Skarbowski was most recently listed on RFK’s roster as a team manager overseeing the organization’s three-car operation. Before joining RFK, he worked as a race engineer at Trackhouse Racing.
The change comes in the middle of the Chase for the Cup, though Keselowski is not among the playoff contenders this season. RFK will look to Skarbowski to help stabilize the No. 6 team over the final stretch of the year, beginning at Kansas Speedway.
