One dead after overnight double shooting, Broward Sheriff’s Office says
Two people were shot and one is dead after an overnight shooting in Lauderdale Lakes, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.

One person has been detained, BSO spokesperson Miranda Grossman said.
When BSO deputies got to the 3200 block of Northwest 37th Street, which is in the Carefree Cove community, they found one man with gunshot wounds. As BSO Fire Rescue took him to a hospital, deputies found out about another man who was taken to a hospital from the scene after being shot. The latter shooting victim died.
