Final Injury Report for Commanders-Cowboys: Will Malik Hooker, DeMarvion Overshown Play?

The Dallas Cowboys are at home Sunday afternoon as they host the Washington Commanders in a Week 2 NFC East showdown.

Dallas enters Sunday’s game with an 0-1 record after losing on the road to the New York Giants in Week 1.

In their loss to the Giants, Dak Prescott led the way for the Cowboys as he recorded 175 passing yards, two passing touchdowns and an interception while CeeDee Lamb added 44 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown of his own.

The Cowboys will try to bounce back Sunday as they face off against the Commanders in a tough home matchup.

Washington enters Sunday’s contest with an 0-1 record after losing on the road to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1.

Jayden Daniels led the way for the Commanders in their Week 1 loss as he ended the game with 195 total yards and two passing touchdowns while Antonio Williams recorded 64 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday afternoon’s matchup, one may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Commanders Injury Report: Will Frankie Luvu Play?

The Commanders have three players listed on their injury report, including linebacker Frankie Luvu.

Washington has ruled out Luvu due to a groin injury that he suffered during Week 1 as he will miss his first game of the season.

The Commanders have also ruled out tight end Chig Okonkwo due to a hamstring injury while defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw has been listed as questionable with a back injury.

Cowboys Injury Report: Will Malik Hooker, DeMarvion Overshown Play?

The Cowboys have two players listed on their injury report as they have ruled out safety Malik Hooker and linebacker DeMarvion Overshown.

Dallas has ruled out Hooker due to a forearm injury that he suffered in Week 1 as he will miss his first game of the season.

The Cowboys have also ruled out Overshown due to a hamstring injury he suffered in their loss to the Giants as he will miss Sunday’s game as well.
