Final Injury Report for Packers-Jets: Will Lukas Van Ness, Will McDonald IV Play?

The Green Bay Packers are on the road Sunday afternoon as they travel to take on the New York Jets in a Week 2 interconference matchup.

Green Bay enters Sunday’s game with an 0-1 record after losing on the road to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1 after allowing 29 consecutive points to end the game.

Jordan Love led the way for the Packers in their Week 1 loss as he ended the game with 387 passing yards, two passing touchdowns and an interception while Christian Watson recorded 147 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns.

The Packers will try to bounce back Sunday as they face off against the Jets on the road.

New York enters Sunday’s contest with a 1-0 record after defeating the Tennessee Titans on the road in Week 1.

In their victory over the Titans, Breece Hall led the way for the Jets as he recorded 102 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown while Geno Smith added 215 passing yards of his own.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday afternoon’s matchup, each may be without multiple key players due to injury.

Packers Injury Report: Will Lukas Van Ness Play?

The Packers have six players listed on their injury report, including EDGE Lukas Van Ness.

Green Bay has listed Van Ness as questionable due to a concussion and he is in danger of missing his first game of the season.

The Packers have also listed guard Aaron Banks (knee), offensive lineman Zach Bako-Bewele (knee) and cornerback Benjamin St-Juste (hamstring) as questionable.

Defensive tackle Javon Hargrave has been listed as doubtful due to a knee injury and a concussion and he is expected to be sidelined while defensive tackle Warren Brinson is out with a calf injury.

Jets Injury Report: Will Will McDonald IV, Minkah Fitzpatrick Play?

The Jets have five players listed on their injury report, including EDGE Will McDonald IV and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick.

New York has listed McDonald IV as questionable due to an ankle injury and he is in danger of missing his first game of the season.

The Jets have ruled out Fitzpatrick due to a groin injury that he suffered against the Titans as he will miss his first game of the season.

Wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. (ankle), running back Kene Nwangwu (back) and EDGE Joseph Ossai (foot) have also been ruled out.
