Ana Navarro lost a ton of weight. She finally dished how on ‘The View’

So … the incredible shrinking woman had a little help.

Ana Navarro revealed on Tuesday’s episode of “The View” that she takes medication to assist in her weight-loss journey.

The admission came as the women on the panel were reminiscing about shows past for the 30th anniversary. After a few throwback clips, including one of her dancing with ‘70s legend Charo, Navarro cracked, “Those were all pre-Mounjaro.”

The Nicaraguan native, with Joy Behar next to her, also revealed that other cast members were taking the trendy drug as well.

“We’ve lost the equivalent of a baby hippo on that stage,” she said to laughs.

The 54-year-old Carrollton alum was referring to the celebrity loved injectable from Eli Lilly and Company that the FDA approved that same year. Mounjaro is the brand name of tirzepatide, a so-called gut-hormone mimic that helps control blood sugar, block out food noise and make you feel less hungry and sated longer.

Though Navarro didn’t specify how many pounds she’s shed in four or so years, you can note changes in her appearance starting around the fall of 2023. There are pictures of the Coral Gables resident looking slimmed down at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner in April 2023.

The next month, Navarro posted an Instagram picture of her cutting a sleek figure while in Cartagena on a weekend getaway with her bestie, SoBe Wine & Food Fest founder Lee Schrager.

Compliments flooded the comments section, but the University of Miami grad didn’t mention anything about being on meds at the time. She did explain she was doing a combination of things to be healthier in response to her mother passing from kidney disease brought on by diabetes.

“She suffered terribly the last years of her life,” the TV personality wrote in the replies. “That scared the bejeezus out of me.”

Navarro added that after a trip to a wellness spa in Mexico, she began “reprogramming the way” she approached diet and exercise.

Upon her return home to South Florida, she said she sought out “medical supervision” and began playing pickleball.

In her signature cheeky humor, Navarro concluded that there were two things she still couldn’t give up — “the damn rosé and margaritas.”
