This taco spot that started in Miami Beach has closed its Coral Gables location
After two and a half years, a made-in-South Florida taqueria has closed its location in Coral Gables.

Bodega Taqueria y Tequila, which opened on Miracle Mile next to Seasons 52 in January of 2024, has closed, the brand announced on Instagram.
“Our Coral Gables chapter has ended, but the Bodega story continues,” the Instagram profile notes simply. The restaurant held a farewell party at the end of July.

The first Bodega opened on Miami Beach in 2015 and quickly became a late-night spot for tacos, beer and hanging out until the wee hours. The Coconut Grove Bodega opened in 2022 with a secret speakeasy and tasting lounge. There’s also a location in Fort Lauderdale. All three of these Bodegas remain open.
There is also a Chicago location as well as a space at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
