Child in critical condition after accidentally being shot in Pompano Beach: BSO
A young child is in critical condition after being accidentally shot late Wednesday night, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

At around 10:15 a.m. Broward County Regional Communications got a 911 call about a shooting near the 4000 block of Southwest 15th Street. BSO deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue were on the way when they found out the child’s parents had taken him to a nearby fire station.

Fire Rescue took over medical aid and took him to a hospital. BSO has yet to say what led up to they say is an “accidental shooting.”
