The stabbing happened around 9:45 p.m. at a Mobil gas station on the 16000 block of Miramar Parkway, said police spokeswoman Janice McIntosh.
Paramedics took the man to a trauma hospital, where he died, said McIntosh. It was not immediately known which hospital it was.
The person who stabbed the man ran away, prompting a manhunt by police, who set up a perimeter, closing Miramar Parkway in both directions between the 16400 and 17200 blocks, McIntosh said.
