That would be because said animal (we think) belongs to the hottest newlyweds on the planet — Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

Neither bride nor groom has commented on acquiring a new family member, but there are signs. In leaked footage of their over-the-top July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden, a portrait of them with a fluffy, white dog was displayed as part of the decorations. Now, this very same pooch was just photographed in South Florida with Kelce.

TMZ obtained pics of the football player exiting a private jet (thought to be Swift’s Dassault Falcon 7X) on Sunday at the newly named Donald J. Trump International Airport in Palm Beach with the same furball in the wedding pic.

Though the gender is unknown, the breed has since been ID’ed by canine lovers on the Internet as a Samoyed. Its origins are from Siberia, so here’s to hoping Kelce got it back in the A/C PDQ.

If the pop princess and pro baller, both 36, are indeed dog parents, we can’t wait to hear the name. Swift already has three cats with unusual, Hollywood-inspired monikers: Meredith Grey (”Grey’s Anatomy”), Benjamin Button (the short story and movie) and Olivia Benson (”Law and Order”).

Owning a dog will be an interesting transition for the “Ophelia” singer. On Jimmy Fallon’s show last year, Swift admitted at the end of the chat, she didn’t recall ever walking a dog when pressed during a true-or-false rumor segment.

“They should be able to run free,” the Grammy winner joked. “Let ‘em loose! They come back!”

Paps didn’t spot Swift on this trip, so why would Kelce come solo? There are a few reasons that all have to do with his job as a professional athlete on the Kansas City Chiefs. We know he likes to work out at Johnny’s O gym in Boca Raton in the off season. And last year, Kelce rented out a place at the Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club nearby. His then fiancée ended up joining him and the two were spotted on a few fancy date nights in the area.

Before long, the tight end will be back on the grind. The team’s training begins in earnest at the end of the month at Missouri Western State University.
