Man in critical condition after being stabbed in Miami, police say
A man was hospitalized in critical condition after being stabbed Sunday night, the Miami Police Department said.

The stabbing happened around 5:40 p.m. at Northwest 2nd Avenue and 32nd Street, police said.

Miami Fire Rescue paramedics took him to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Officer Michael Vega, a police spokesman said, adding that one person was detained for questioning.

Police have not named the victim nor the person being questioned.
