Aventura police were called to a Sunday afternoon disturbance at a shopping center at 21265 Biscayne Blvd., according to an arrest affidavit.
A 17-year-old, whom police identified as M.K., told an officer he was trying to park his Tesla at a charging station when he was confronted by two men in a car, the affidavit said.
One of the men got out of the passenger seat, approached him aggressively, pushed him and grabbed him to try to move him out of the parking space, the affidavit said. As the teen tried to regain his balance, the driver of the car reversed and hit him in the leg, police say.

“While speaking with M.K., he appeared visibly shaken, emotional and frightened,” the officer said in the affidavit. “His eyes were watery, and it appeared he had been crying as he recounted the incident.”
Witnesses backed up the teenager’s account.
Police searched for the two men described by the teen and found Ahmed Mohammed, 34, and Serguey Artigas, 48, near a PetSmart in the shopping center, the affidavit said. Both men were arrested on felony charges of battery and child abuse with no great bodily harm.
Neither of the men had attorneys listed as of Tuesday afternoon, court records show. Mohammed and Artigas had bonded out of Miami-Dade’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
