McMurray, a NASCAR analyst for FOX Sports and the CW Network, also won the 2010 Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and 2015 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona races over a 17-year NASCAR Cup series career. He retired in 2019.
The buyer is not yet listed on the public Iredell County online property tax records site.
The Charlotte Business Journal first reported the sale of the gated, 33.6-acre waterfront estate. The home is in the 400 block of Beech Tree Road, off Brawley School Road in southern Iredell County.
The 7,612-square-foot home has five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two half-bathrooms, according to its listing.

Outside are a fire pit and outdoor kitchen, a pool house, dock, four garages and a “resort-style” pool surrounded by turf.
