Woman shot in shoulder and flown to a hospital, Miami Gardens police say
Miami Gardens police are investigating a Tuesday afternoon shooting that seriously injured a woman.

Around 4:40 p.m., officers rushed to reports of the shooting in the 3700 block of Northwest 195th Terrace, Miami Gardens police said.
The woman, who was not identified, was found inside car shot in the shoulder. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue airlifted her to a hospital.

Police have not said if a suspect has been caught or is being looked for. However, authorities said, “At this time, it doesn’t appear there is any threat to the public.”
