The closings on State Road 836 will begin at 11 p.m. Saturday and end at 10 a.m. Sunday. The stretch is shutting down for construction of a reinforcing steel cage to support a bridge over the roadway.

Drivers going east on the Dolphin can detour by exiting at Northwest 17th Avenue, then continuing south across Northwest Seventh Street. Drivers will then turn left at Southwest First Street, continue east and turn right at South Miami Avenue. Turn right to access the I-95 north or south ramps.

Drivers going to Biscayne Boulevard and the MacArthur Causeway can continue east on Southwest First Street, then turn left on Biscayne Boulevard to connect with the MacArthur entrance ramp at Northeast 11th Terrace.

Also, all westbound lanes on I-395 continuing onto the westbound Dolphin Expressway will be closed at I-95 from 11:59 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday. The I-395 ramps to northbound and southbound I-95 will remain open.
