On Sunday, an MDSO captain found the man, 22-year-old Eddrick Bethune, with gunshot wounds and lying on the shoulder of the roadway at Southwest 216th Street and 189th Avenue.

Meanwhile, arson investigators also responded to a car that had been set on fire in the area of Southwest 248th Street and 157th Avenue.

Detectives tied all this back to a shooting in North Miami around midnight at an apartment complex at 14040 Biscayne Blvd, where deputies say Bethune was abducted.

Bethune matched the description of the abducted man, and the car that had been intentionally set on fire matched the one driven by the suspects, deputies say.

Video taken at the North Miami apartment building and uploaded to social media shows two men breaking through a window and jumping down to the ground. Another video shows two men beating and dragging a man into a car.

Deputies have yet to release the names of anyone else involved or announce any arrests.
