Man critically injured after I-95 wrong-way crash with officer, Miami police say
A man who was driving the wrong way on Interstate 95 early Sunday crashed into an officer and was critically injured, a Miami police spokesperson said.

The officer was traveling north on I-95 express lanes around 2:16 a.m. when they were struck by a male driver in a Kia heading south in the same lanes, a spokesperson said.
Both the officer and the man, who were not identified by police, were taken to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. The officer “is expected to make a full recovery,” and the driver of the Kia “remains in critical condition” as of Sunday afternoon, a spokesperson said.
