Jealous, he accused her of being attracted to her brother-in-law, who along with his wife \u2014 the woman\u2019s sister \u2014 shared a residence.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Before abruptly leaving, she said he announced in Spanish, \u201cI\u2019m going to solve a problem,\u201d the arrest report read.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Within the hour, while she was lying on the couch, she heard a shot \u2014 Lauzurique-Gonzalez had returned with a gun. The brother-in-law told authorities that before Lauzurique-Gonzalez shot him in the shoulder, he said: \u201cI\u2019m going to kill you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Lauzurique-Gonzalez then pistol-whipped the brother-in-law after shooting him. An officer canvassing the area found Lauzurique-Gonzalez and detained him just five minutes after a 911 call was made.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Lauzurique-Gonzalez] spontaneously stated to Officer Falto in Spanish, \u2018I did that to him because he was having sex with my girl.\u2019\u201d the arrest report read.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The brother-in-law was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital\u2019s Ryder Trauma Center. From his hospital bed, he told detectives what happened.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Detectives said Lauzurique-Gonzalez told them he\u2019d been arguing with the brother-in-law for about three days because the man intervenes in conversations and arguments with his ex-wife. He warned the man to stop, or there would be problems.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, he saw the man and his ex-wife on the couch talking and laughing, which made him upset.
