It was settled Tuesday, but the negative story is out there.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>According to court files, former housekeeper Mileydis Morejon sued her former boss in December 2024 in Palm Beach County. The woman alleges that in November 2023 she\u2019d been attacked by the family dog named Houdini at least three times while on the job at the sprawling estate.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The Daily Mail notes that the Peltzes adopted Houdini from their daughter\u2019s animal shelter in L.A. called Yogi\u2019s House, and added that the \u201cLast Airbender\u201d star was originally supposed to sit for a deposition in the case.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>In one instance, Morejon alleges the pit-bull mix lunged at her \u201cwithout provocation\u201d and ripped her clothes; on another occasion, she had to fight off the animal with a vacuum cleaner.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The suit says that the Peltzes had a duty to keep visitors to their home safe from harm and to both train and restrain their dog, which had a \u201cvicious disposition.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>As a result, the worker\u2019s injuries resulted in \u201cphysical impairment, disfigurement, mental anguish, inconvenience, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, loss of earnings\u201d and more, says the suit. But on April 30, the plaintiff\u2019s lawyers filed a notice of settlement to Palm Beach County Circuit Court, and the case was dismissed on May 5.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>While that\u2019s now behind them, Brooklyn\u2019s dispute with his folks continues to rage on. The drama began as far as back as April 2022, during his nuptials to the heiress-actress at the Peltz mansion.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>In early 2026, Brooklyn broke his silence as to why he was no longer speaking to the soccer god and Spice Girl, with one of the main reasons being the way Victoria behaved \u201cinappropriately\u201d at the reception. Some witnesses corroborate that their mother-son dance was cringe-y, while others didn\u2019t notice anything amiss.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI do not want to reconcile with my family,\u201d the hot-sauce entrepreneur wrote in a lengthy Instagram diatribe. \u201cI\u2019m not being controlled, I\u2019m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The Beckhams, who sold their crash pad in One Museum Tower in downtown Miami, but maintain a spec house in Miami Beach, are said to be heartbroken about the estrangement.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>There is zero estrangement going on with the bride\u2019s side of the family, however. Nelson Peltz even officiated the couple\u2019s vow renewal ceremony in August 2025 at the tycoon\u2019s compound in Westchester, New York.
