These roads will close from 5 a.m. until parking lots open four hours before matches.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>They will close again 90 minutes after kickoff for two hours, including some ramps on the Golden Glades Interchange to make them \u201cbus only\u201d for the shuttles.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>For example, on a day such as June 15, 21, 24 and July 3 when a match begins at 6 p.m., the roads will be closed from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. and then again from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Exceptions: The quarterfinal and the bronze quarterfinal matches on July 11 and 18 begin at 5 p.m. and the post-event road closures on those two nights are 2 1\/2 hours after kickoff.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Northbound Exit 2X on Florida\u2019s Turnpike<\/li>\n<li>Southbound Exit 2X on Florida\u2019s Turnpike<\/li>\n<li>Northwest 14th Ct. \/ Northwest W 199th St.<\/li>\n<li>Northwest 27th Ave. \/ Northwest 199th St.<\/li>\n<li>Some ramps on the Golden Glades Interchange, post-event only, will temporarily be re-routed as bus-only. These ramps would include those connecting Florida\u2019s Turnpike and the Palmetto Expressway (SR 826) onto the Golden Glades.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<h2>FIFA Fan Festival street closings<\/h2>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>F\u00fatbol fans have 23 days\u2019 worth of daily FIFA-related celebrations at the Fan Fest event at downtown Miami\u2019s Bayfront Park, 301 Biscayne Blvd., as an option from June 13 to July 5.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The venue, where Ultra is held every year, boasts of interactive fan experiences, live match broadcasts, food, and musical performances.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/floridamovingchronicle.com\/?p=1597\">DeSantis, Cabinet greenlight $90 million for local immigration enforcement<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Downtown traffic is a snarl and parking isn\u2019t easy even on routine days. And there are events at nearby Arsht Center like the Sergio Mendes Band on June 26 and at the Kaseya Center. No Heat games, but there are Shakira concerts at the Kaseya\u2019s arena on July 1-2, as well as A$AP Rocky on June 15. Officials recommend taking Metrorail and Metromover. You can take Brightline and Tri-Rail into the city, too, and head over from the nearby station.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>There are several traffic-calming measures such as detours and lane closures that may happen depending on attendance as Fan Festival approaches. Here are some of the details.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p><b>Scenario 1<\/b> considers whether there is low or medium attendance from June 13 through July 1. Downtown Miami traffic operations are expected to continue with minimal disruptions. You can still expect increased travel times and to plan accordingly if you\u2019re traveling through the downtown area, police suggest.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>If Scenario 1 is enacted expect:<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>All primary northbound and southbound travel lanes are expected to remain open to regular traffic with support from law enforcement and traffic management staff.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Contingency lane closure, as needed, would see Miami police temporarily close the northbound right lane on Biscayne Boulevard directly in front of Bayside Park to improve crowd circulation, and enhance safety conditions near event entrances and gathering areas. The remaining northbound travel lanes to continue operating normally.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p><b>Scenario 2<\/b> would go into a high attendance operations plan July 1-5 given there are several Shakira concerts at the nearby Kaseya and a celebration for the United States\u2019 250th anniversary.
