Whole Foods Market will open a new store in Doral in July, a first for the Amazon-owned grocery franchise.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Doral store will be the furthest west Whole Foods Market location in the Miami metro, and we are excited to welcome new customers in this area,\u201d Adrienne Hutchings, executive leader of operations for Whole Foods Market, said in an email to the Miami Herald. \u201cDoral is one of the fastest growing Florida cities and a growing community needs the best options when it comes to high quality groceries and quick grab and go options.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to U.S. Census figures for Doral, the current population tops 83,000, an uptick of nearly 2,000 from 2025. Doral\u2019s median household income, $94,164, is about 31% higher than the countywide median of $71,753.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The new store, which opens July 2, is at 10700 NW 41st St. east of Florida\u2019s Turnpike and west of President Donald Trump\u2019s golf resort.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The nearest competition? Four Publix supermarkets, a Winn-Dixie and an Aldi.<\/p>\n
