The  case eventually grew cold and sat untouched for decades.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>That was until BSO\u2019s Cold Case Homicide Detective John Curcio recently identified the man as Robert Russell Freese.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cSomebody\u2019s been looking for their loved one for 51 years,\u201d Curcio said. \u201cAnd every holiday, they\u2019ve been looking for him, and we now know who he is.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/floridamovingchronicle.com\/?p=1235\">Hurricane season is here, and the World Cup is coming. What visitors need to know<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis name is Robert Freese.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>A BSO spokesperson announced Curcio\u2019s breakthrough Monday, stating he identified the long-lost man using modern fingerprint technology.  That yielded results of Freese\u2019s physical description, birthplace and where he last lived.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>He was described as a blonde-haired, blue-eyed, 170-pound white male, born in Nassau County, New York.
